Southern Yellow Pine
Harder than most other softwood, southern yellow, or "hard" pine is known for its strength and durability. Warren Trask offers 4" through 12" four quarter C and better grade tongue and groove flooring as well as 6 through 12-inch S4S boards. If you are looking for a rustic appearance, ask about our 6, 8, or 10-inch number 2 and better flooring. Economically priced yet rich in character, Southern Yellow Pine flooring from Warren Trask is hard to overlook.
Douglas Fir
The Western Wood Products Association (WWPA) states, "For versatility and beauty, few woods in the world match the magnificence of Douglas Fir…" It is true that the light rosy color and vertical grain provide a warm look hard to match with other woods. At Warren Trask we stock a full line of the highest grades of Douglas fir available. B&Btr grade is available in 4/4 flooring and 5/4 porch flooring for the more discriminating end users. We also stock C and better vertical grain four quarter, five quarter and eight quarter, in widths ranging from 4 to 12". We also carry vertical and mixed grain fir wainscoting. Douglas fir is well known for its strength, nail-holding capacity, and natural beauty and is recognized as a premier species available for flooring, decking, and pattern stock. Warren Trask has established long term working relationships with some of the best mills in the country that offer Doug fir so you can be confident of the grain quality, tally and consistent availability.
