Claymark New Zealand® introduces Centurion™, a revolutionary preservative treated primed and finger-jointed trimboard.
With the introduction of CenturionTM, ClaymarkUSA® will usher in the most advanced exterior radiata trimboard available in North America. Distributed by Warren Trask in the Northeast, this preservative treated finger jointed radiata pine is grown, manufactured treated and primed by Claymark® in New Zealand and comes with a 25-year warranty. The patented treatment process is known as TruCore and assures penetration to the core of each board. As a result, cut surfaces, end and drilled holes do not require re-treatment at the jobsite like other treated boards on the market. The components of the TruCore treatment have been used for over 50 years with an excellent performance history. In fact, these very components are recognized by the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA), and the American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA) and are all registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Another positive attribute of the TruCore® process is that it does not use Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), heavy metals, arsenic chromium, or similar materials. The result is a product that is treated to the core with no risk of fumes emissions at the jobsite or in the home. In addition to being safe for the home, CenturionTM is produced and marketed under the strict environmental guidelines of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
The end result is that Claymark Centurion™ is a trim board that begins with the best board, adds the best treatment process and coats it with the best primer system.
